This year, no post on how to cook the perfect turkey or what wine to serve for Thanksgiving. Not a recipe for stuffing or dessert or cranberry sauce. Not a do-ahead checklist nor list of tips.

Just a post to say—thank you.

Thank you for being interested in food and cooking and making your life—and the lives of those around you—more delicious.

Thank you for allowing me to contribute to that. Thank you for reading these posts and buying my books and trying my recipes. Thank you for trusting me with your time and ingredients.

Food and eating are two of my favorite things in life, and I feel crazy-lucky to make my living celebrating them.

That is entirely thanks to you.
